Sarah Smyth is a freelance literature events consultant and programmer.

She is currently working with the Gloucester History Festival, curating their Blackfriars Talks series of high-profile talks and discussions featuring some of the UK’s leading historians and broadcasters.

She was previously the artistic director of the Cheltenham Literature Festival, which she left in 2014.
