Sarah Smyth is the former Artistic Director of the Times and Sunday Times Cheltenham Literature Festival.

She has been at the Festival from 1995 to 2014, working with some of the world’s leading authors, thinkers and commentators, during which time the Festival quadrupled in size, from an audience of 28,000 to 140,000 in 2014.
